Description:
The top qualities we are looking for in a candidate:
•Desktop technician, NOT network technician
•Good Customer Service – professional interaction with the customers, well spoken.
•Good listening skills (takes direction well)
•Flexibility, juggling competing priorities.
•Work independently 95% of the time (after training)
•Proactive, doesn’t wait to be told what to do. Looks for what needs to be done.
•As noted above, this position is definitely Desktop support, network communications.

Position description:
•Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems as a Desktop Support Technician.

Position responsibilities:
•Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Tracks and monitors the problem to insure a timely resolution. Will work with others in the IT area on software installation, PC rollout and other projects as needed
•First point of contact for computer support questions Software installation;
•Desktop support Printer support
•Support of off-site laptops/users
•Comply with applicable FDA and international regulatory laws/standards and the Client Code of Conduct.
•Other duties and/or special projects as assigned or required

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•Computer and networking knowledge.
•Thorough understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems.
•Experience in Microsoft products, including MS Office, Visio, Project.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Documentation/Communication skills
•Work independently
•Recognize problems and take corrective measures
•I.S. Customer Service

Education Required :
•High school graduation or equivalent; college graduation preferred.
•Years of Experience Minimum 2 years
•Specialized Knowledge or Skills Required
•Desktop support experience
•Computer Imaging experience
•I.S. Customer Service experience

Desired/preferred qualifications:
•A+ Certification
